Tricouni Enterprises, LLC is a St. Cloud, Minnesota based, family owned investment firm focused on building a portfolio of growth oriented, privately held companies throughout the local region and beyond. Our investors are fourth generation family business owners seeking to replicate their prior success of profitable growth by acquiring and growing businesses in different industries.
The name "Tricouni" mean to succeed at your greatest potential. Historically it has referred to "the law of the highland or mountain peak" and has been used as a name of mountain peaks around the world.
We acquire companies with $1 million to $10 million of revenue that
have a track record of growth and profitable performance.
- Transactions type
We are focused on acquisitions with the intent to hold and grow the companies in our family.
- Management
We look to partner with managers who have proven track records. If necessary, we will assume an active role in management to better understand the business needs and build a "complete" management team with the long-term objective of a well rounded leadership team that does not require daily involvement on our part.
Incentive-based compensation for senior managers is an integral part of our philosophy.
- Location
We are interested in companies headquartered in Minnesota and Wisconsin with a preference for companies in the local region. We will consider investments in other areas on an exception basis. - Business Characteristics
Business-to-Business companies with stable cash flow and a defensible market position that are non-cyclical and not easily impacted by technological change are most desirable. - Industry Preferences
We are interested in a broad range of companies as long as they meet the criteria listed above.
At this time, we are not interested in the food & beverage industry or start-ups.
